DETROIT IMAGE WORKS

Logo and brand development

A business specializing in custom printing for photography and fine art was just getting started and needed a logo. What you see here are examples of the iterative process used to create that mark and accompanying brand identity.

I gathered inspiration imagery and delved into retro and modern looks for this project. Ultimately, a drop of ink was landed upon for the final concept. The company would later drop the “Detroit” part of the name (which I suggested from the start).
